Alum Trained and Ready for Climate Action in Any Environment
Since receiving her second master's degree in Sustainability Management at Columbia University, Megan Ross has relocated to California in search of new opportunities in climate adaptation and mitigation. She was drawn to the SUMA program's diverse course selection, which positioned her for high-impact roles without reiterating concepts already well-known to Megan from her existing professional experience.

Alum Works on Embedding Sustainability into Business Operations
During her time at Columbia University's Sustainability Management program, Andrea held board positions at the Women & Sustainability Club, the Sustainability Management Consulting Club and Net Impact. Currently, Andrea is Corporate Sustainability Manager at ABM Industries, where she aims to embed sustainability into internal operations and decision-making.

Alum's New Book Promotes Renewable Energy Literacy
Sustainability Management alumnus Michael Ginsberg hopes his new book, Harness It, can promote a better understanding among MBA or engineering students and business professionals in the utility sector and across industries. The book details the historical progression of global electrical grids and renewable energy sources, and provides models for their implementation at various industrial scales.

Integrating Sustainability with Finance
Before joining the SUMA program, Mah Sissoko held a Bachelor's degree in business administration and finance, but was eager to integrate sustainability into her understanding of energy sector financing. Currently, she works as a Senior Ivestment Analyst at CDPQ Infra, where she supports the development of investment strategies in public transportation.

Creating a Global and Unified Perspective on Infrastructure
Catarina Carvalho ('18) currently works as a senior consultant at Arup, where she advises infrastructure projects worldwide. She has worked in telecom, transportation, and energy and water companies in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
